Summer is finally HERE!

Think all of the kids are out of school and ready to start summer. Softball is in full swing in Montana and we are enjoying reports from Briggett and Timber's tourney play around the state. Both teams are doing well. The Fuller's have been off for a week and are busy packing. Big news is they are moving to Omaha, NE. They also have camps and lessons galore. Lisa has been doing SURF and been out on the boat a couple times, once with her Mom when a storm came up! Carter starts summer vacation in the morning with his Dad and a good plan. Steve was here for two enjoyable days and says Ben has a camp on Bainbridge this week. Maddie and Spencer are just working, working. Chloe goes to the park and sends me great photos on the phone that i look forward to. Enjoyed Gabe and Jilly who are having a Montana summer at GangGang's.

Bob is recovering well from his back problem - on a 7-day medicine that appears to be working better than the first nasal spray. The good news is there is no disc involvement so it will get better and hopefully is not the beginning of a reoccurring problem. Yes - although he said he would never do it again - he did have an MRI because he was so crooked. On Wednesday the Dr. in Missoula gave me a final all clear (after three ultrasounds and one biopsy)on my thyroid. So we are out from under the worry about thyroid cancer - Yahoo. Will check in 6 mos to a year to be sure there is no change. Don't think the Missoula trip was great for Bob's back but think he will be back to work on Monday. Dr. Wilson called me Saturday afternoon saying it was great news about the thyroid and now on to the gall bladder and lymph nodes which still showed funny on the last CT scan (yeah, I've had more than one and the pocket book knows it). I said the Missoula Drs (I've seen three) were not impressed with the lymph or worried about it. She said it has not changed so agreed we could put any more stuff off until fall when we will do the gall bladder and take a look at the lymph at the same time. We are not worried about the C word just curious about the larger nodes that could have been there forever for all anyone knows. So if Alice can finish shaking the pneumonia we should be in good shape.

Been enjoying watering trees, fiscal year end at work, and cooking as we continue our 18 month program (4.5 months and counting,counting, counting). Participated in Montana Youth Challenge graduation on Saturday which is always a moving happy event. Enjoyed a good lunch with Brittany, Chloe, & Pie in Missoula. Fun visits with both Alice and Steve. Checked out my old Pontiac at Uncle Roy's and the new window in Doug & Sandy's kitchen. Both are awesome. I'm headed to Savannah the week of july 12 to help Anne however she needs me. Otherwise things are pretty quite in our pretty MT oasis.
