Montana is Green Right Now (not blue or red)

I committed to posting today but it will only be a typical Sue ramble.

I had many thoughts - originally had a trio of the "C" blogs. You may recall the first - Counting Counting Counting. It was to be followed by Chopping Chopping Chopping and then Cooking Cooking Cooking but nothing is more boring than a crazy dieter!! P.S. - i need to learn how to post a picture, mr. bob is looking good.

No timeto delve into the political arena although it is very interesting right now and YES! Montana did turn out in good numbers and voted for O and i don't mean Oprah. Western did stream the international virtual energy forum into the Great Room of the STC the last two days and there were very good talks - John Kerry and Newt G. spoke - both very interesting.

We had a super busy May with many trips etc. Montana is a beautiful place to drive in the spring -- green all the way across the state. I had no idea how beautiful eastern Montana is.

Trying not to worry about the affects of the economy on all of us. Hang in there and know we are here. This blog becomes more and more important as the reality of not being able to travel as much or as easily hits us all. Brittany's store is closing so she is concerned about finding another position. Generations before have faced this bravely as I know this one will also. But it still makes me MAD! So far because we didn't participate in the boom, Montana is not yet as busted but perhaps will be as this thing progresses.

It is COLD COLD here. Think the wind chill all day was amazing. Missoula had a snow storm that stuck - ours didn't. So far there hasn't been much summer but the moisture is worth it -- again it is as beautiful as i can remember driving around the state.

Did hear a non confirmed report that Mick Hanson wasn't feeling well and Sharon made him go to the Dr. today. Had a blockage in the artery going into his heart at the bottom and supposedly had a stint put in. Heard he told the Dr. he had to be at work tomorrow for orientation but instead Dr. said he would rest comfortably in hospital overnight. I'll follow up when i know more. Keep him in your thoughts.

Bob is watching CARS and when I said is this on or did you put it in. he said the latter - i'm missing Cody! I enjoyed chat with Carter about the natural history museum this morning and Chloe sent me a good morning picture on the phone. Emma and Anne are making cupcakes for her Yahoo!! school is ending party. Lunch with Mom & Dad each day who are doing well. These are the things that make life special. ENJOY.

Enough of a ramble - know we love all who read the Briggybunch and hope we start posting again soon to stay in close touch with each other in what may become difficult times. And be sure to be thankful for each day and the beautiful things that surround us - like smiling faces and gorgeous green landscapes.
