I went back to work on the 10th. It was an exhausting week with a final on Monday, a 20-page paper due Thursday and a trip to Seattle on the 13th for my dad's 60th birthday with a visit to my grandma who had an aortic valve replacement on Dec. 5. (She came home yesterday and is doing well.) I will be working 30 hours a week but only 3 days in the office. Molly and I had a great time in Seattle, especially at the "Meet Molly" brunch hosted by my aunt Mary. My sister came back with us on the 16th and spent 8 days hanging out, watching Christmas movies, baking and visiting Disneyland. She hadn't been since she was 5 so she had a great time. The boys really love their Auntie Britt (but Jamison was a little confused about this 2nd unfamiliar auntie). Here are some pictures of our visit:
It rained a little bit and we got pretty cold but overall it was a great time. Thanks Bob and Sue for providing us with such a great Christmas memory! Brittany went home yesterday and we had a nice evening eating meatballs and cookies and unwrapping our pajamas.

Now we're off for a week in San Diego with my family. Merry Christmas to everyone - we love and miss you all and hope you're having as great a day as we are.

Cute, Cute, Cute!! thank you kalin for adding the line about jamo being not quite sure what to think about special occasion auntie. as you know i am quite sensitive about my status as regular auntie and i worked long and hard with that boy to get a little love. miss you but i will see you soon to ring in the new year!!!
