Flat Stanley

Our Flat Stanley's are still trickling in, but I know you are all on the edge of your seats waiting to see them, right?!? Here is an overview of what we have as of now. Look carefully to see Flat Elvis Stanley, Flat Stanley from the Pueblo Indian ruins of New Mexico, Fiesta Flat Stanley, Flat Senator Stanley (who arrived with his own senate pass, and pictures with our Senator--Crapo, not Larry Craig (I did spell Crapo correct, think long a sound-Crae-poe)), Flat Boston Red socks Stanley, and many more!

Our Briggy Bunchers supplied us with some of our favorites like Flat UMW football player (who arrived with a fabulous letter about how it is never to early to decide to go to college---a guy after my own heart!), as well as Flat Stanley's that traveled with Timber and her friends to the Lolo Hoop Shoot (which our little Timberlee won!!), Carroll College, and UofM to the stadium.

In the southeast, we have the Fuller's Flat Mrs. Briggs, who arrived with tons of exciting brochures and visitor info that the kids (and Brendan and I) have been looking through…your hints were subtle, but fabulous Anne :) The cutest little Flat Dylan Feger is also present, check out the beach baby!

There are so many wonderful Stanley's and letters that have come in. We even have a Stanley that is working his way onto the Iditarod with our Alaskan families. Thanks bunchers for your help in this department! The kids, and especially their teacher who was crossing her fingers that some would come in, think you are THE BEST!

Wow! It looks like a fun and interesting project. Thanks so much for sharing - bob (the artist)had been wondering how it went. Good job Jenna and cudos to the bloggers who rose to the challenge.

That's a LOT of participation! I'm going to remember this when I'm a cool teacher some day, or maybe just for my own kids when they're old enough. Thanks for the follow-up!

Subtlety is overrated.

I have felt really guilty about not finishing my L.A. Stanley (you'll probably recieve one from me the last day of school and your kids will be like who is this dork from L.A. sending us this thing like 4 months late. The project looks unbelievable. Great work and participation. Definite blog points for those of you who have completed the assignment. By the way I agree with Anne both are totally overrated.
