How fun!! Thanks Emmy for taking Mom seriously about keeping the family in closer touch. Happy Happy day to Kalin - congratulations on reaching the birthday that can be repeated over and over for the next 20 years - then you can move on to 39. Know that we love you very much and are so happy you are part of the briggybunch. No fair posting a picture of sprinkle cupcakes when there are Montana viewers who only have a chain called McDonalds!!

What a July -- we had a wonderful time with our two girls, four of our six grandkids, and our great son-in-law. It is very quiet and lonely in our house now but i will admit the grocery bill is going down! Thank goodness the grand time was recorded in hundreds of pictures - many currently available on Snapfish. Only wish we were all close enough to have a sunday family dinner or brunch tradition. (I LIKE high grocery bills!) I think i would be great at hosting a weekly event for all of my precious ones.

Wow Carter - that was an amazing video. That was interesting science. Hear you are "on the loose" in LA with your Dad and Aunt Emmy for August. Wish Bobpa and i could be there for "three on the loose".

Bobpa wants me to tell all our grandkids about an event not to miss. At 12:36 a.m on Monday morning the 27th (so Sunday night)Mars will be as close to the earth as it will be again for almost 2 centuries. It will appear as if we have two moons. Everyone should try to see it if possible -- the smoke from the Montana fires may be a problem here. Lisa or Rob perhaps you could look this up and let us know the full scoop as it was just something Bobpa heard at work.

It has been very quiet here but Bob created a little excitment tonight. As a favor to his three children Bob tried out the electric fence concept while watering the horses. Rest assured it will work - he said it will definitly keep him in. Think you all have plenty of details to work through but this one piece is tested for the old age plan.

All the olds here are well. Uncle Dick had his 90th birthday on the 6th at Boyd's house.

Does pulling tumbleweeds and other tall weeds negate the treeplanting in our quest to help with the global warming issue?
